"A difficult game for us travelling to an unbeaten side who are veterans at this level. We struggled to create real chances and ultimately succumbed to a free kick early in the game.

We played really well in parts and nullified a potent West Chilt forward line. The game descends into madness in the last 15 with 3 red cards being shown and it could have gone either way at this point to be honest.

Credit to West Chilt who defended really well in the last part of the game with 9 men.

Great to see a couple of our reserve squad stepping up and playing well with Luke Furber claiming our man of the match.

We didn’t know what to expect playing at the highest level the club ever has but i think we are more than capable of competing at the top of this division."

Next up for the Firsts is the visit of Lavant FC to the King George on Saturday 24th October (3pm Kick Off). The visitors currently sit 8th in the league with 4pts from their opening 5 games.
