We are delighted to announce that this season the U18s will be affiliating to the men's section of Rudgwick Football Club. The side is going to compete in the Surrey Youth League and will be managed by Adam Abrahams. He will be assisted by David Barnett and Rob Dartnell who last season ran the U16s squad, the majority of which will be stepping up to U18s level.

Rudgwick Juniors was set up over 10 years ago to allow local lads the chance to play for their village club, we would like to thank everyone who has been involved in this long process coming to fruition finally.

The U18s joining us as a Youth section strengthens the bond between the Men's and Junior sides and we would like to express our thanks to Ed Poole, Junior Chairman, for his help and support making this a smooth transition.

We aim to start to integrate these young players into the men's sides over the coming years through the potential raising of an U23s side next season or a Youth development side playing men's football. Whichever way the club goes these young players will form the future of Rudgwick Football Club.

Our Senior coaches will be available to assist with coaching sessions and opportunities will be offered to players to feature in men's training sessions and matches where applicable. Building a close bond between the Men's and Junior's is something that the board will actively pursue and we are looking to bring on board a Youth Development Manager to the Management Committee. We will also be appointing Senior and Junior Youth Club Captains from the U18s who will play an active role representing their side and guiding the pathway of the club moving forward

We wish Adam, David and Rob every success for the upcoming season and look forward to watching these young player develop and continuing there success from Junior level.
